Zenji Nio is an expert in Korean Buddhism

As Japanese Buddhism is influenced by Korean Buddhism, Zenji Nio is an expert in Korean Buddhism as well as Japanese Buddhism and has lectured on Korean Buddhism in Korea and the US. When the Korean Buddhist temple was opened in Washington, Zenji Nio was invited to give the keynote speech. Zenji Nio's approach to Korean Buddhism is to make it exciting and easy -- like the great Korean saint Won Hyo. As more and more Korean youth are returning to Buddhism and as President Lee Jae-myung said Korea will promote Buddhism as the National Religion of Korea, and foundation of Korean traditional culture and heritage -- Zenji Nio is working with Korean experts, leaders and influencers on ways to promote and preserve Korea's Buddhist culture.
